Mekorma was founded in 1990 as a software development consulting company. In 1993, Mekorma started creating custom software for companies using Microsoft Dynamics GP (then called Great Plains Dynamics).

Starting in 1997, Mekorma offered packaged software add-on modules to companies using Microsoft Dynamics GP. These modules included, among others:

  • Mekorma MICR (a check printing package)
  • Project Profit Tracking (a job costing system)
  • Recurring Billing (an automatic billing generation system)

Throughout the next few years, Mekorma achieved several distinctions, including Great Plains Inner Circle 11 years running, Partners Choice Developer of the Year twice and Global Developer of the year once. Over 4,000 clients use the Mekorma MICR package and over 100 clients use custom-developed Mekorma products.

Mekorma MICR was awarded the Certified for Microsoft Dynamics GP designation starting with version 8.0 and continuing to present.The Certified for Microsoft Dynamics GP designation ensures that Mekorma MICR fulfills Microsoft's requirements for true integration into Microsoft Dynamics GP. The designation also ensures that Mekorma MICR is being used successfully in the real world.


Executive Team

Ora Goldman
President
Ora is the founder of Mekorma. She either directly developed or oversaw development for many of the most popular add-ins for Microsoft Dynamics GP, including Mekorma MICR and Credit Card Advantage. Before Mekorma, Ora was an independent consultant specializing in accounting technology. Ora studied business at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, was an on-campus consultant and developer and was Operations Manager for the UCLA School of Engineering. Ora currently participates in discovery and design for many of our large custom development projects.
